TONIGHT (Friday) sees the welcome return of Cavan’s Alanna Maher to Mahon’s Hotel in Irvinestown.

Alanna is a rising country singer from Swanlinbar. Having supported many of the top country artists and performed in various venues across Ireland over the past two years of her career, she is quickly making a name for herself on the country music scene.

Her second single ‘Mind Your Own Biscuits’, a catchy Kacey Musgraves number, has been a great success for her.

Her quirky video has been featured on several country shows such as Irish TV, Hot Country TV, Keltic Country, Country Showcase and Ireland’s Country, to name a few.

Alanna is now featured on TG4’s Glór Tíre and is singing along with her mentor Robert Mizzell.

But you can see her live in Mahon’s tonight!

Then, on Saturday night, a great new band will take to the stage in Mahon’s Hotel.

Mad For The Road is made up of Tony McElduff on guitar and lead vocals, Clair McCartan on vocals and whistle, Oliver Conlon on vocals and Maeve McElduff on guitar, mandolin and harmonies.

Oliver recently recorded an original song, The Twincam song, that has over 160,000 views on YouTube already. It was written as a tribute to one of Ireland’s best-loved cars!

Meanwhile, country music star Shaun Loughrey plays on Sunday night from 8pm to 10pm.

Born and raised in Manchester, Shaun is a son of John Loughrey, who was a very popular country and Irish singer before his death in 2005.

John Loughrey was originally born and raised in Newtownstewart, county Tyrone and it is in the country of his father’s birth that Shaun has found success during the last decade.

Back in 2005, after only a few months on the road, Shaun picked up two prestigious awards as a newcomer and since then his popularity has only grown on the Irish country music scene.
