A MAN wearing a dark hoodie has attempted to rob a woman as she walked at Riverside, Cornagrade, Enniskillen.
The male pulled his hood down over his face, ran up behind the woman and grabbed at her handbag.
He is described as being approximately 5’4” tall.
Police say the woman, who was not injured but left badly shaken, was able to elbow the man who then made off from the scene.
Constable Coughlin would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area anytime between 10.20pm and 10.30pm last Wednesday and who may have witnessed this to contact police at Enniskillen on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1354 08/02/17.
