Run for Your Life running club in Enniskillen has donated a brand new Ford Fiesta to Westville Family Resource Centre to enable the charity to raise money through a raffle.
The running club is headed by Lorraine McMullan, a family visitor with the Westville Family Resource Centre. Each week, for over a year, members of the running club have saved their membership fee to put towards a new car.
“The running club chose Westville Family Resource Centre as our charity because it’s locally based and it provides so much to all families within the community and delivers the Lifestart programme to children aged up to five throughout Fermanagh,” said Lorraine.
Westville Family Resource Centre launched the car raffle at the weekend, accompanied by local rally driver Garry Jennings and web designer Paul Handley who designed the charity’s new website free of charge.
Tickets for the raffle, which will take place at the WFRC’s charity dance at Enniskillen castle on August 4, cost £2 each or £10 for a book of six. They can be purchased from the WFRC office or their website www.wfrc.org.uk
