A four-year-old girl from Tempo has parted with 14 inches of her below waist-length hair so that she can donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Keira Flanagan, a Primary 1 pupil at St Mary’s Primary School in Tempo, also raised over £700 for the charity through sponsorship from friends and family members.
Keira’s mother Joni said: “Keira is such a kind wee girl. She is my hero and I am so proud of her.”
