A large attendance was attracted to Forthill Park, Enniskillen, on Easter Monday, when the scenic location played host to an afternoon of free family fun and entertainment.
The ‘Picnic in the Park’ event, organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, incorporated a feast of popular activities ranging from an Easter egg trail to face painting, balloon modelling and music.
The Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Mary Garrity encouraged families to make their way to the venture.
She described Forthill Park as a beautiful and historic setting for their Easter “Picnic in the Park” event.
She added it was “a great opportunity for families to get out and about and enjoy this wonderful and historic space in the heart of Enniskillen.”
This event, which enjoyed fine weather, received financial support from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Good Relations Programme assisted by The Executive Office.
