BT Broadband has apologised for a break in service which affected a large area across Fermanagh and Tyrone on Tuesday night.
From around 9pm on Tuesday night customers in Enniskillen were reporting their Broadband service was down for a number of hours.
But according to BT, service was restored “quickly”.
“Due to planned and essential engineering work on the evening of Tuesday, April 25, residents primarily in areas including Newtownstewart and Omagh may have experienced a short break in their broadband availability while we were making improvements to the network. BT ensured that broadband was restored to affected customers quickly and all residents within the area now have access to their broadband again. BT apologises to any customers who may have been affected by this issue.”
