The Abaana African School Children’s Choir visited Fivemiletown College recently.
The choir was welcomed to a special assembly on Thursday, May 4.
All the children involved with the Abaana project travelled from Uganda to share their stories through song and dance.
“It was a thoroughly enjoyable and uplifting experience!
“The Ugandan pupils have a special link with the school as three sixth form pupils travelled to Uganda last summer with Abaana.
“Christopher Crawford, Hayley Corbett and Alice Gervais were delighted to be reacquainted with some of the children they had worked with in Africa.
“The children really enjoyed a swim in the school pool afterwards!” said a school spokesperson.
