THE Post Office in Enniskillen town centre will be closing later this month to allow for a major refurbishment, it has been announced.
When the modernised branch, which is based in Dolan’s Centra on High Street, reopens on Wednesday, June 21, selected Post Office services will be available on a Sunday.
The service will be provided from four serving positions - one modern screened, two open plan counters and a Post Office serving point at the retail counter offering selected services during shop opening hours.
The branch itself will open from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 5.30pm on Saturday, with selected Post Office products and services available from the retail counter during shop opening hours which are 8.30am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday.
In all, the opening hours will increase by an extra 15 hours and 30 minutes a week, it has been revealed
The Post Office will close at 5.30pm on Monday, June 12 for the refurbishment to take place.
It is due to reopen at 1pm on Wednesday, June 21.
Customers should note that during the closure, Post Office services will be available at other branches, including Cornagrade Road Post Office in Enniskillen and Lisnaskea Post Office.
