A WELL-KNOWN gospel singer from Lisbellaw is about to release a new album.

Four years after her last release, Lynda Lindsay has been back in the studio recording songs for her latest CD, which is called ‘Love Grew’.

Made up of nine tracks, the album features a mixture of well-known classic hymns, other songs with a country gospel flavour and some less well-known tunes.

A popular gospel artist, Mrs. Lindsay sings at weddings and concerts across Fermanagh and the rest of Northern Ireland.

The mother-of-four also enjoys singing to the residents at Gortacharn nursing home in Lisnaskea, where she works as an activities therapist.

“Music is a big part of my work there,” she said.

She also sings in some of the other local nursing homes as well.

Mrs. Lindsay said she is “delighted” with the mix of songs on her new album.

“There is something for everyone. It’s always a fantastic pleasure singing great songs in the studio which have a great message behind the music,” she added.

As with her previous recordings, ‘Love Grew’ was recorded at CRM Music in Ballyclare.

“I would hope that the listener will get as much pleasure from listening to the songs as I did from recording them.”

The new album will be available to buy at the Lisbellaw woman’s stall at Fermanagh County Show, as well as from the usual local outlets.
