It was all fun and games for service users at Killadeas Day Centre’s recent fun day.
Thankfully the rain stayed away long enough for everyone to participate in some events, including a relay race, egg and spoon race, group boccia tournament and a wheelchair slalom.
Staff and service users had a fantastic day, whether they wanted to get involved or spectate from the side-lines, there was something for everyone.
Commenting on the success of the fun day, Patricia Griffith, Day Services Manager said: “The new sensory/leisure garden has been a huge asset to the service.
“We are constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to use this fantastic space in addition to its day to day use, such as the fun day; twilight Christmas Fayre and plans to host an outdoor film night in a few weeks’ time.
“We are delighted that Kenny Fisher from Enniskillen Rotary Club could join us today so that once again he could see how well the project that Rotary worked so hard to fund is used and enjoyed by the service users of Killadeas Day Centre.”
