A 17 year old student at St. Kevin’s College in Lisnaskea was rushed to hospital on Monday afternoon after falling out of the back of a moving bus.
It’s understood the student was travelling back to the school following a special mass at Holy Cross Church when the incident occurred at about 1.10pm in the Knocks area.
Principal Gary Kelly said he was first on the scene.
He told The Impartial Reporter: “There was an incident involving a school bus.”
He said the student is now “doing very well at home.”
A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said the teenager was taken to South West Acute Hospital.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed that it is “continuing to conduct enquiries.”
A PSNI spokeswoman also told this newspaper: “At this stage, no crimes are suspected.”
