ENNISKILLEN childminder, Cara Corrigan is celebrating this week after being crowned Childminder of the Year for the North/North West region in the Families First NI Awards.
An experienced childminder of 20 years, Cara was nominated by Marian and Gareth Cauldwell.
She looks after their son, Dylan.
The awards ceremony took place in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal, on October 7 when Cara learned of her success.
She had been shortlisted down to three childminders across the North/North West region ahead of the glittering final.
Families First NI is a publication available in local crèches, preschools, Primary Schools, leisure centres, soft play areas and family restaurants and cafes.
It offers special features in each edition and provides content for mum and dad as well as children.
Besides a number of competitions throughout the year it also offers advice and ‘How To’ tips, recognising all of life’s ups and downs as a parent and how to deal with them.
