Drivers are advised to avoid the Montiaghroe Road in Kesh due to a road traffic collision and the icy conditions.
Police have also advised drivers to avoid the Coleshill Road, near Grosvenor Barracks and the Drumcose Road at Fardrum, outside Enniskillen this morning because of treacherous ice.
Meanwhile, footpaths around towns and villages are very slippery and pedestrians are urged to take care.
A police spokesman stated: “Police are advising the Coleshill Road and the Drumcose Road in Enniskillen is extremely icy and drivers should exercise extreme care. Motorists should avoid the road and, if possible, seek an alternative route.”
WEATHER WARNING:
Meanwhile, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice from 4pm today (Monday) until 11am tomorrow (Tuesday).
A spokesperson said: "Ice is expected to form across Northern Ireland on Monday evening with icy surfaces expected, lasting into Tuesday morning.
"Some injuries are likely from slips and falls on icy surfaces and icy patches will form on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths."
