TWO men are helping police with their enquiries following the sudden death of a man in an Enniskillen flat on Wednesday.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of the man, named locally as 47-year-old Martin Logan.

A police spokeswoman told The Impartial Reporter: “Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man in his forties in a property in the Cornagrade Road area of Enniskillen yesterday, Wednesday 27 December. 

“A post mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death. 
“Two men are helping police with their enquiries,” the spokeswoman concluded.

Meanwhile, a spokesman from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) received a 999 call at 17:28 on December 27, 2017 for a patient in the Cornagrade area of Enniskillen.

“NIAS despatched an A&E crew and an ambulance officer to the scene, arriving in just over one minute.

“No one was taken from the scene.”

An eyewitness said he saw the ambulance arriving at the scene at 5.30pm.

Police remained outside the residence yesterday (Thursday) while it is believed that scene of crime officers were at the scene yesterday also.
