PAMELA Ballantine’s next UTV Life show promises to be a real hit with music lovers, with Irish country music star Nathan Carter joining Pamela for the entire show.

Twenty seven year old Nathan is known as one of the biggest stars of Irish country, and his list of accomplishments so far in his career include nine studio albums, four live albums and four live DVDs.

The ‘Wagon Wheel’ star will chat to Pamela about his early days growing up in Liverpool, from singing as a teenager in his local pub, to getting a record deal that has led him to playing to sell-out crowds all over Ireland and further afield.

We also hear from Nathan’s parents and grandparents in Liverpool.

Reporter Rita Fitzgerald visited Nathan’s hometown last week and got a special tour of key places in Nathan’s life from his grandmother.

Also interviewed is the owner of the club which gave him his first break.

And if that wasn’t enough for his fans, in between chatting to Pamela on the sofa, Nathan will perform two songs live in the studio.

You can watch Pamela’s show on UTV tomorrow (Friday) at 8pm.

The singer, who lives in Fermanagh, recently celebrated eight years since launching his band in Ireland.
