Man arrested after woman receives injuries to head following collision with car
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a woman in her 20s received injuries to her head following a collision with a car on Friday night.
Police say the incident occurred at around 9.10pm when a black Audi A4 car was in collision with a female pedestrian at Wellington Road close to the junction with Wesley Street.
The woman was taken to hospital and treated for cuts to her head. A man aged in his 50s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving and later bailed.
Constable Dympna Bradley has appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured footage on dashcam to contact officers at Enniskillen on 101 quoting reference number 1304 13/04/18.
