Killyhommon Primary School, Boho launched their Jubilee book, ‘Tales from a Country School’, on Sunday, June 3.
The 246 page book, is a compilation of photographs, personal memories, archival documents and poetry.
It tells the story of this small rural school over 50 years and the powerful and anchoring influence it has had on this rural community in West Fermanagh.
On Thursday, June 7, the school opened its doors to past pupils, parents, former staff and the wider community and hosted a display of old memorabilia including cine footage, recounting a time and place that is very special in the memory of many of those who passed through the school’s doors over the years.
