Events old and new have combined to create a recipe for success once again at this year’s Kesh Carnival.

The festival kicked off in style on Saturday night with Stars in Their Eyes. Eleven acts performed under the guise of one of their favourite musical artists or groups. The acts had been practising secretly for weeks under the watchful eyes of vocal coaches Catherine Leonard and country star Paul Kelly.

The ever-popular Tractor Run took place on Sunday, this year in aid of Fermanagh Supporter’s Group for Downs Syndrome. And Tillys Run and 10k ensured keen athletes were put through their paces on Monday this week. The festival continues this week with the ‘Great Kesh Kake Off’ tonight (Thursday) in the Big Marquee at 8pm.

And Round Two of the Boxing takes place tomorrow (Friday) with ex-Sky Sports presenter Harry McGavock presenting on the evening.

On Saturday DJ Bob’s mammoth ‘Rock the Boat’ takes place in aid of Air Ambulance NI on the Main Street, Kesh.
