A major classic and vintage machinery show and sale is set to raise a considerable amount of money for cancer charities this weekend.

The charity auction hosted by R.A. Noble & Co at their auction site beside Clogher Fire Station this Saturday, September 12 will involve many vintage and classic tractors, implements and horse implements. There will also be a vintage display and tractor run leaving the auction yard at 12.30pm.

The purchasers’ fees and entry fees collected from the auction will be shared between Marie Curie Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK.

A number of other items have been donated for sale including a pedigree Friesian Maiden heifer donated by R.A. Noble and Co.; a £50 voucher from William Stockdale and Sons; a bakery hamper from H & H. Bakery and a vintage sprayer from Trevor Coote.

The machinery at the auction includes a 1974 Muir Hill, a 1953 David Brown 25 and 1948 David Brown Cropmaster, 1968 Nuffield 465 and many more vintage tractors.

There is also a large number of older farm implements such as binders, hay rakes, cutting bars, elevators, corn fiddle and pony cart and harness.

All items are to be delivered to the site on Saturday between 8am and 10am.
