Tractor and machinery enthusiasts of both modern and vintage tastes are invited to a free event which looks at the life and inventions of Harry Ferguson in great detail.

The event is being hosted by Knockconny Baptist Church, 84 Dungannon Road, Ballygawley (BT70 2JU) on Friday next, October 23 and starts with tractor and machinery viewing from 7pm. There will be a range of 40+ vintage, classic and modern Ferguson and Massey Ferguson tractors and machinery on view at the event. These include a 1938 Ferguson Brown (20hp) right up to present day tractors with some in excess of 300hp and many models down through the decades in between so there will be something for everyone’s taste. These tractors and machinery have all been kindly provided for the evening by local farmers, contractors and vintage enthusiasts both far and near.

Afterwards, guest speaker, George Conn will deliver a history of Harry Ferguson from a farming, engineering and Christian perspective.

A free barbecue will also be held during the tractor and machinery viewing period.
