Flood group meets
The Northern Ireland Assembly's Executive will shortly be presented with recommendations from the Fermanagh Flooding Task Force.
The Task Force, a cross-departmental body set up by the Executive in response to the high levels of flooding in Fermanagh in November, met this week at Stormont Castle. Many farmers whose land borders Upper Lough Erne were badly affected.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Michelle Gildernew; the Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister, Arlene Foster; the Regional Development Minister, Conor Murphy and the Environment Minister, Edwin Poots.
The task force agreed a series of recommendations aimed at mitigating the potential impact of future flooding.
