Martin and Joan Hinchlifee from Ballydoolagh, Enniskillen have recorded a great success in Connemara breeding recently.

The couple's seven-year-old mare, "Ballydoolagh April Song" had won the Connemara championship at the Enniskillen Horse and Pony Show in June, qualifying for the All-Ireland Show.

At that show last weekend in Tullamore, Ballydoolagh April Song took third place out of a class of 28.

Martin and Joan were delighted with their placing especially as they had bred the animal, sired by "I Love you Melody."

Their entry was the only one from Northern Ireland at the Irish final.
