Such is the popularity of the Northern Ireland Charolais Show at Fintona, sponsors are still expressing their interest in sponsoring a class at the show.

These sponsors range from those who have been involved with the show since it’s inception to many new sponsors who have come on board this year, which is encouraging in this present economic climate and gives a measure of the confidence that industry and local business have in the National Charolais Show which takes place at the Ecclesville Centre, Fintona on September 32010 at 4pm. Dungannon Farmer’s Mart have been running the NI Charolais pedigree sales for a number of years and have given the Charolais Club a most professional service. Centrally located at Granville, Dungannon, it’s an excellent venue for premium pedigree livestock shows and sales. They have prioritised the interests of both the seller and buyer and have endeavoured to ensure that all pedigree livestock enjoy a high profile. Among the sponsors are G.P. Electrics and Security, Fane Valley Co-op and Donnelly Quarries.

Sandra Cochrane, Chairman of the N.I. Charolais Club stated “We are indebted to our sponsors old and new for their loyal and continuing support to the National Show Fintona as well as the British Charolais Society. Without this sponsorship the event on September 3 would not take place and the Club lends in appreciation to everyone involved”

Entry forms for the commercial class at Fintona Show can be obtained from the secretary Mary McCormack 028 807 61339/07789067231

Tickets now for sale from committee members for the Charolais Club barbeque supporting the Fermanagh Children’s hospice on September 11 at Harrison Boyd’s farm Clogher, cost £15.
