Lisbellaw Young Farmers' Club, the top club in Fermanagh, held their annual dinner and prizegiving.

The guest speaker on the night was Mr. Andrew Wilson, Vice- Chairman of Fermanagh County Committee of the Ulster Farmers Union. Mr. Wilson highlighted the Department of Agriculture's plans to cut the YFCU's funding as part of their draft budget for 2011 to 2015 saying that if this took place it would be a severe blow to the rural youth as the YFCU organisation provided a valuable resource within the rural communities.

Local clubs can provide these young people with many agricultural and social skills which will benefit them throughout life," he told members and guests.
