Fermanagh Grassland Club begin new programme

The Chairman of Fermanagh Grassland Club, Alan Warnock and Secretary, William Johnston finalising the Club's Winter Programme. The Club meets on a monthly basis from October to March and hosts a wide range of speakers on topics relevant to local farm businesses.

The first meeting of the winter, on Tuesday, October 11 will include a presentation from a dairy farmer from Co Monaghan, Mr Damien McEntee. After studying at Ballyhaise and completing a term of work placement, Damien began farming and is now milking 160 cows. Having a keen interest in the dairy industry supply chain, Damien will share his views on the co-ops and milk processing sector in Ireland together with the policies and management implemented on his own farm.
