This year's Fermanagh County Show takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 7 and 8, slightly later than usual because of the way the first Tuesday of the month falls.

The Show was officially launched last Thursday evening at a reception in Enniskillen Campus, attended by representatives of the Show Committee and sponsors.

The Food Hall has one sole sponsor this year, Northern Bank. This aspect of the Show will also feature cookery demonstrations by the RUAS food demonstration unit, Belle Isle Cookery School, Kitchen Academy and O'Doherty Butchers.

Judges from England , Scotland, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland will decide the winners in the livestock sections and the Ivomec Super Simmental Pair of the Year and Northern Bank Male and Female of the Year competition will be hosted in Enniskillen.

A range of dairy classes are also featured as well as young handler classes.

Vaughan Trust is also one of the major sponsors.

The poultry section is expanding again this year by popular demand with the highest bird in each class exhibited by a Fermanagh exhibitor going forward to compete in the Vaughan Trust Fermanagh Poultry Championship.

The Impartial Reporter is again sponsor of the Schoolchildren's section which has over 1900 entries.

Reduced ticket prices can be obtained from various outlets are �5 down from the normal rate of �7 at the gate.
