It has been a busy year so far for Lisbellaw YFC who met recently for their annual dinner.

Earlier in September the theme of their meeting was “Get your dancing shoes on” which was about learning basic jiving steps with a partner and by the end members were set for a night out.

The Club took around 30 members to Corralea activity centre. A grant from Enniskillen Yacht Club enabled members to participate in various activities including canoeing, wall climbing and mountain biking. They have thanked Enniskillen Yacht Club for giving us them the opportunity.

Another meeting was attended by Lisbellaw butcher, John Graham who demonstrated the different cuts of a pig. He showed the Club how to take the skin off the meat and also how to tie a knot in a roast.

Members from Kesh Young Farmers supported their interclub Quiz in November which was called “Time to get your thinking caps on. ” Six team who took part in five rounds which had different themes. Two teams were level on poionts and they had a tie-breaker to decide the winner.

There was a great turnout for the trip to Lisburn swimming pool and also to the annual rifle shooting meeting in February. At this meeting they were shown how to hold a gun correctly and then to aim at a target sheet.
