The Society of Dairy Technology (SDT) in association with CAFRE, Ulster Farmers’ Union and Dairy UK NI are holding their Spring Conference at CAFRE’s Loughry Campus, Cookstown on Wednesday, April 1 2015.
With the abolition of milk quotas on 1 April 2015, the Conference entitled “Future in Focus - The Dairy Industry in a Post-Quota World” will provide a timely opportunity to consider the impending challenges and opportunities for the dairy sector.
Speakers include Mansel Raymond, Chairman of the Dairy Working Group, Copa Cogeca; Sophie Helaine, DG Agri; Mark Faherty, Irish Dairy Board; Professor Paul Ross of University College Cork; Dr David Dobbin, Chief Executive of Dale Farm and Alex Bandini of Kantar Worldpanel.
