The supreme champion at the Northern Ireland Charolais Club show and sale in Dungannon on Friday sponsored by Danske Bank came from the herd of Kenneth Veitch, Drumlone, Lisbellaw.
Drumlone Invader, a Cottage Devon son from a homebred dam, Drumlone Viola, later went on to sell for 4,500gns.
The top priced female animal in the sale came from William and Margaret Nelson, Rosslea, for their Drumacritten Irene who was female champion. She later went on to sell for 3,000gns. Drumacritten Irene is sired by Newhouse Bigal with a homebred dam, Drumacritten Duchess.
