The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise invites young people to attend Spring Open Days to find out about the careers and courses available in the agri-food and land-based sectors. During the open events there will have the opportunity to meet and talk to staff, tour the campus facilities and gain an insight into life and study at CAFRE.

For those who like working with horses, the date for your diary is the Equine courses Open Day at Enniskillen Campus, which will be held on Saturday next, April 18 at 12noon at the College.

Loughry Campus, Cookstown provides courses in Food Technology, Food Business Management, Food Design and Nutrition and Postgraduate courses in Business for Agri-food and Rural Enterprise. Loughry’s Open Day is on Tuesday, April 21 from 4pm to 9pm.

Greenmount Campus, Antrim is well known as the key provider of courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Land-based Technology, Floristry and Veterinary Nursing. There is an opportunity to attend this and meet the meet the staff at the Open Day on Wednesday, April 22 from 4pm to 9pm.

All CAFRE courses prepare young people for a successful career in their chosen industry and make extensive use of the excellent teaching and practical facilities at each Campus.
