Maura McBride (nee Flynn) from Willoughby Place, Enniskillen, passed away peacefully at S.W.A.H. on January 1, 2015. She was 89, having been born in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, in March 1925.
She moved to Enniskillen over 60 years ago and worked locally for a number of years.
She met her husband, the late Matthew McBride, who had a pharmacy business in Derrygonnelly for 35 years.
She had made many friends in the course of her long life and they have shared along with her family a great sense of loss.
Her four children, who along with their family members and many friends, remembered her wonderful long life at her Funeral Mass on Monday, January 5, 2015, in St. Michael’s Church, Enniskillen. Burial took place in Breandrum Cemetery.
Maura was pre-deceased by her husband Matthew, who died in 1993, and her brother George (Manorhamilton) who died in 1998.
She is survived by her loving children Mary, Brian, Thomas (Rasa) and Ita (Brian), grandchildren Niall, Marita, Aine and Matthew; sister-in-law Kathleen and nephew George.
Her month’s mind mass will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2015, in St. Michael’s Church, Enniskillen at 6 p.m.
