Mrs. Adeline Beryl Thompson passed away at the South West Acute Hospital on Saturday, May 30, 2015, aged 72 years, after a short illness.

She attended Killadeas Primary School and then Enniskillen Technical College. Following school Beryl trained as a nurse in Belfast before taking up an appointment in the Erne Hospital, Enniskillen.

Her other great loves were her garden and cooking and baking. She was also a member of Magheracross Mothers’ Union for a number of years.

The funeral service was held in Magheracross Parish Church, Ballinamallard, and was conducted by the rector, Canon Brian Harper. The organist was Mrs. Joan Quinn and the hymns, chosen by Beryl, were ‘Safe in the arms of Jesus’, ‘The old rugged cross’ and ‘Abide with me.’ The readings were by her four grand-daughters Rebeka, Megan, Katie and Kim Thompson. The burial was in Craghan graveyard.

Beryl is survived by her husband Ivan, daughter Linda, sons Neil, Mark (Jayne), Gary (Cheryl), Keith (Diane) and by her 10 grandchildren.
