The death occurred at the South West Acute Hospital on September 11, 2015, of Jean Law. Jean was born on March 17, 1931, at Moneyvriece, Ederney.
A daughter of Willard and Matilda Jane Ellis, she was born into a family of 10.
On marrying Bobby Law, they set up home at Ardess, Kesh, and were happily married for 56 years. Bobby passed away seven years ago.
In her latter working life, Jean spent many happy years working at the Erne Hospital.
Following their move from Ardess to Enniskillen, Jean worshipped at St. Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen.
She was a member of the Mothers’ Union and a regular attender at the Cathedral Tuesday Club.
Family, friends and her garden were a source of great inspiration to Jean.
The funeral held at Ardess Church was conducted by Dean Kenneth Hall and Canon Henry Blair. Burial was at Ardess Churchyard.
Jean is survived by her son Bertie and daughters Margaret, Jennifer and Pauline and respective families. They are deeply appreciative of the support received from all at this time.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by F.G. McFarland and Sons, Funeral Directors, Letterboy Road, Kesh.
