On January 29, 2016, James Henry (Harry) Somerville, late of Snowhill, Lisbellaw, passed away peacefully at the age of 91.
He was born at Derrintoney, and then moved to Mountgibbon, Brookeborough. He married Isabel Swindall in 1960 and they farmed together for many years.
He then moved to Snowhill, Lisbellaw, where he farmed for many more years.
Harry, as he was best known, gave his life to the Lord at a very early age. He was a faithful member of his Church and also the Rawe Prayer Union which he attended until his health failed.
The funeral took place in Bethel Free Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Raymond Thompson and the Rev. Ivan Foster. The hymns were The Lord’s my Shepherd, What a friend we have in Jesus, and When my life-work is ended.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Gordon Elliott, S.R. Elliott and Sons, Darling Street, Enniskillen.
