Mrs. Noreen Brownlee Witmer
The death has occurred of Mrs. Noreen Brownlee Witmer, of the USA, late of the Five Points, Bellanaleck.
The burial of the ashes took place on May 29, 2010, in her Granny Wilson's grave at Old Derryvullen Graveyard, Tamlaght.
She attended Cleenish Parish Church and Sunday School and sang in the choir, and she had been a keen Girl Guide and Cub Scout leader in Enniskillen.
Noreen trained as a nurse in Tyrone County Hospital, Omagh and the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.
She went to California to live with her uncle, Andrew Brownlee, late of the Five Points.
She continued studying at university for her nursing degree and she was always proud of her calling as a nurse.
Noreen was a very gifted person and used her God given gifts to the full. She loved and cared much about everyone to the end of her life.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Rosemary, Arneen and Andrea and two grandchildren Andrew and Tamra; and also by her niece Catherine and husband, Professor Donald McFaralane USA.
She is also lovingly and greatly missed by her sister, Ruby and husband, Leslie McNair, Hillsborough, Co. Down. Nieces and nephews at home and abroad also survive her.
Thanks are extended to all who attended the burial and special thanks are expressed to Joan and Sam Nixon, Tamlaght, for all the Christian love they showed to the family and friends.
The kindness of Canon Stewart, who conducted the burial, was also much appreciated by all.
Noreen's husband, Arthur died seven days after her death. His ashes were buried at sea, San Diego, USA.
