Lorna Elisabeth Aspberry (née Abraham) passed away suddenly at her home in Wellington, Somerset, England on July 2, 2014, aged 59 years.

Born on May 25, 1955, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith Abraham of 7 Archdale Drive, Ballinamallard and a sister of Robert, Lynn and Colin.

Lorna attended Ballinamallard Primary and Ballinamallard Intermediate Schools.

On leaving school, she took up employment with Graceys of Enniskillen.

After a few years, she decided to move to England and took up employment as a care assistant caring for the elderly, which she carried out for over 25 years. She was held in high esteem by her work colleagues and affectionately thought of by the residents.

Due to failing health, Lorna took early retirement. Lorna had a very caring nature; she had a fondness for children and a great love for animals.

She enjoyed cycling and was often seen cycling around her home town of Wellington.

Lorna’s funeral service took place in Ballinamallard Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. John Beacom. The hymns were The Old Rugged Cross, Abide With Me, and Amazing Grace. Lorna was laid to rest in Sydare Cemetery with her daughter Wendy, who passed away at six weeks old in 1975.

Lorna is survived by her brothers Robert, Lisbellaw, Colin, Ballinamallard, and her sister Lynn (Irving) Kilmarnock, Scotland and a wide family circle.

The funeral arrangements were by S.R. Elliott and Sons, Darling Street, Enniskillen.
