The peaceful passing occurred on September 28, 2015, of Hilary Elizabeth Isabella Cadden, née Coalter, at South West Acute Hospital, following a short illness.

Hilary was born on November 7, 1962, and attended Castle Irvine School in Irvinestown and then the Duke of Westminster High School, Ballinamallard and Kesh. From there, Hilary attended the Tech in Enniskillen, where she completed a course in book keeping. Employment began at Standard Telephones in Enniskillen and she also worked part time in the family butcher’s in Irvinestown.

Hilary and Brian began married life 35 years ago at Sydare, where they lived for a short time before moving to Barragh Gardens, Ballinamallard, and then on to Drummurry Lane, Ballinamallard, where she lived happily until her death.

Over the 35 years Brian and Hilary had three children and four grandchildren, all of whom Hilary was extremely proud of. She was most happy when she was at home spending time spoiling the grandchildren and working in her garden looking after her beloved roses.

Christmas was a very special time of the year for Hilary. She took great pride in creating her Christmas grotto!

Hilary was a popular member of the Ballinamallard and wider community mainly due to her friendly, outgoing and kind personality. This was evident from the large attendance at Hilary’s wake and funeral.

Hilary is survived by her husband Brian, her children Diane (Ian), Julie (Keith) and Alan; her grandchildren Zac, Maisy, Abbie and Harvey. She is further survived by her father and mother Ivan and Audrey Coalter, sister Linda and brother Ian.

The funeral service was held in Magheracross Parish Church, Ballinamallard, and was conducted by Canon Brian Harper.

The organist was Joan Quinn. The hymns were: What A Friend We Have in Jesus; As the Deer, and How Great Thou Art.

The readings were Psalm 121 and Psalm 23 - read by Hilary’s nieces Lisa Cadden and Vicki Dilworth.

The burial was in Sydare graveyard, and tea was provided by the Mothers’ Union in the Archdale Hall.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by F.G. McFarland and Sons, Letterboy Road, Kesh.
