Peter Canavan with Mark Little.

On Sunday, Peter Canavan will lead Fermanagh as manager into competitive action for the first time when the Ernemen take on Antrim in Brewster Park with a 2.00pm.

So what can we expect from the Canavan era?

One of the greatest GAA footballers ever produced, Canavan, at times almost singelhandedly, inspired Tyrone football thoughout the nineties and well into the noughties.

This culminated in two All-Ireland triumphs in 2003 and 2005, the former as captain and undoubted leader.

The attached clip is a cameo of the player Peter was and what he can hoepfully bring to the Fermanagh set-up. Everyone will be hoping that he can bring the same inspiration to the players and supporters of Fermanagh from the sideline that he did for Tyrone from the field of play.

Here's hoping.
