Missing man charged and behind bars
A 21-year-old man who was reported missing by the police is safely behind bars at Hydebank Wood Young Offenders's Centre in Belfast.
Last week police issued an appeal for information about Joshua Eaton, from Cleenish Park, Enniskillen, saying he was last seen in the Fermanagh area on December 30. They said they were "increasingly concerned" about him.
Eaton subsequently went on to the internet social networking site Facebook, telling a friend he would phone him before handing himself in.
He was brought before a special sitting of Omagh Magistrate's Court on Saturday, charged with damaging an electronic tag on Boxing Day. The tag was fitted to him as a condition of him being released on bail on criminal charges.
Eaton then appeared at Fermanagh Court on Monday by video link from Hydebank, accused of breaking into the Fort Lodge Hotel in Enniskillen on October 9, last year, and having a jemmy bar in connection with a burglary.
He was remanded in custody until January 16.
