Quinn 'devastated' at bankruptcy

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with The Impartial Reporter, Sean Quinn talks of his devastation at being made bankrupt in the Republic of Ireland earlier this week.

Speaking for the first time since being made bankrupt in the south, Mr. Quinn described Monday's judgement as "devastating" for him, and said it was something that he had hoped would have been avoided.

"Because I haven't owned any companies or businesses since 2002, the assets that can be taken from me are minimal, however, I feel that the fact that I am now bankrupt has ruined my reputation which I built up over many years through a lot of hard work. I am now heading into retirement penniless, and I'm very sad that it has come to this," he said.
