Ben shortlisted for 'Young Person of the Year'

ENNISKILLEN teen, Ben Allister, has made it through to the final of the MS Society Awards.

The 17-year-old has raised thousands of pounds for the charity and is now one of three people shortlisted in the 'Young Person of the Year' category sponsored by the bio-tech firm Genzyme, a Sanofi company.

The final in London on 25 September.

Ben managed to raise more than £19,000 for the MS Society in just three months. The teenager wanted to increase awareness of multiple sclerosis (MS) after his Mum was diagnosed with the condition three years ago.
