A walking path leading to one of Fermanagh's best viewpoints has been reinstated in the Lough Navar area.

The Magho cliff path which leads from a car park on the Enniskillen to Belleek Road rising 250 metres to the Lough Navar Viewpoint, has re-opened after closure for a number of years due to subsidence.

Fermanagh District Council with 75% funding from the Rural Development Programme, administered through SWARD engaged a local contractor to re-construct the path, install hand rails and prevent further erosion.

The path is around 1.5kms and is already popular with walkers and tourists since re-opening a few weeks ago.
