THE South West Acute Hospital (SWAH) will hold a Remembrance Service next Sunday (October 21) in memory of babies who have died following miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal and infant deaths.

This is the 19th year that the Western Trust has held a service as a tribute to those who have died and to their parents, families and friends.

However it is the first time for it to take place in Enniskillen where it will also become an annual event.

It is an interdenominational service and will feature music, prayer, reflection and song.

The remembrance service provides an opportunity for parents and families to talk to others who have experienced the loss of a baby and to meet again some of the hospital staff who may have shared in that experience.

Everyone who wishes to attend will be made most welcome.

The service will begin at 3pm.

Those attending should enter the hospital building by the main entrance where they will be shown to the lecture theatre.

It is advised that you yourself time to park.

If you wish to you can bring a flower as a symbol for your baby.

There will be light refreshments served after the service

Further information is available from Maternity Unit at the South West Acute Hospital, 028 66382000 or calling the Labour Ward directly on 02866382208.
