Serious assault accused returned for trial

A 25-year-old man accused of carrying out a serious assault has appeared before a Preliminary Enquiry at Fermanagh Court.

Damien Patrick Bermingham, from Enniskillen, is charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Niall McManus on April 7, last year, with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

He was returned for trial at Dungannon Crown Court on October 26.
