Traditional music festival opens in Derrygonnelly

The annual Eddie Duffy and Mick Hoy Memorial Traditional Music Festival gets underway in Derrygonnelly tonight.

The Festival which honours two music greats of West Fermanagh, opens with an opening ceili and dance in the Community Centre tonight where the Maid of Carrick and her two handmaidens will be chosen.

Tomorrow(Saturday), a family fun day will be held between 12 noon and 4pm featuring a vintage parade and many other activities including a variety market while on Sunday, there will be a Festival finale of music, song and dance also held in the Community Centre.
