Brendan Dolan through to the semi-final in City West.

Brendan Dolan is in the semi-final of the World Grand Prix of Darts for a second straight year after beating Justin Pipe in City West tonight (Friday).

Dolan won by three sets to one checking out on 68 to win as the local fans in Dublin sang ole, olé, olé.

Dolan just had too much accuracy on the doubles in and out for Pipe who would have entered the top ten in the world with a win over Dolan,

Indeed, Pipe is the latest big name casualty in a wide open tournament which remains wide open with all the big names already out.

Dolan plays the winner of Robert Thornton or Mervyn King in the semi-final on Saturday evening.
