WESTERN Trust patients and clients in the Fermanagh area will reap the benefits of new equipment donated by the Hamilton family from Lisbellaw.
Helen Finlay, Primary Community Care Co-ordinator with the Western Trust received the donation on behalf of the Trust of a Roma Riser Recliner Chair. This is one of the items of community equipment recently purchased by the Hamilton Family from donations they received in lieu of flowers in memory of the late Richard Hamilton of Tattymacall, Lisbellaw.
The Trust gratefully acknowledges that the family wished to donate this money for equipment for use by the District Nursing Team who nursed Richard.
Vincent Ryan, Assistant Director of Primary and Community Care for the Western Trust expressed his sincere thanks to the Hamilton family: "We are extremely grateful for the donation made. This equipment will benefit patients and clients who receive services from the District Nursing Team. The District Nursing Team provides a vital service and this equipment can help them to support patients and clients who require nursing care in their own home setting."
