Thousands of people turned out in Ballyconnell this evening for the second rally in support of Sean Quinn and his family.

The event had been postponed following the death of Lisnaskea Emmetts captain Brian Og Maguire.

The rally, attended by Sean Quinn and his wife Patricia, heard Sean Quinn's brother Peter harshly criticise the former Anglo Irish Bank and the media.

He told the gathering that the takeover of Quinn Group in Derrylin was "like the SAS moving in". And he vowed that the Quinn family will be back "bigger and better than before".

As their son was remembered in the prayers of Father Gerry Comiskey, Sean Quinn and his wife Patricia were in tears.
