The funeral takes place this afternoon of 35-year-old Ballinamallard man Trevor Morrow who died in tragic circumstances at his home on Thursday.

A service will take place in Magheracross Church of Ireland at 2pm.

Member of the Ballinamallard United first team and club officials are to act as pall bearers.

Prayers were said before yesterday's Ballinamallard v Crusaders Irish League game and a minute's silence was held in respect of Trevor.

He was a married man, and leaves wife Barbara and three children, Megan, Jamie and Brooke.

The only son of Alec and Maisie Morrow, Trevor was a key figure at the football club, serving on the senior committee, was chief security steward at home Irish Premier League games and also served on the youth committee. He immersed himself in all aspects of the club, including fund-raising. He also found time to help out with the club's under 11 team, for whom his son Jamie played and Trevor was particularly proud when Jamie's team completed the BKYL league and cup double last week.

Trevor was a friendly outgoing character and will be sorely missed by everyone around the club as well as the many people who knew him.

But more than all of this, it is a tragedy for his family who will be in the thoughts and prayers of everyone who knew him.
