Officers were called to the 38-year-old's home in Gallagh Park shortly after 4pm.
A PSNI spokesperson has said police will continue to investigate the circumstances of the sudden death on behalf of the coroner.
The deceased has been named locally as Sindy Southam.
Speaking to impartialreporter.com, Erne North Councillor Raymond Farrell described the death as "desperately sad".
"I am very mindful of the shock that this has caused to the community and in particular, Sindy's family. I hope people in that area will take time to support one another at this sad time. I would also like to stress that if anybody feels they need to talk to someone then is help out there," he said.
Ms. Southam's death brings the number of sudden deaths in Fermanagh since last Monday to five.
Police Inspector Roy Robinson told yesterday's Impartial Reporter that the scale of the recent tragedies was "unprecedented".
